Left: From the interviews, I identified key questions people consider when searching for wellness buddies. I've incorporated these into the app's questionnaire to help match users interested in this feature.

Right: After completing the questionnaire, the app recommends potential wellness buddies, allowing users to share upcoming classes, book sessions together at a discount, and encourage each other to attend more frequently. This feature benefits both users and the business by fostering a community. Users can message each other and build real-life connections, enhancing their experience. The overall interface is showcased in the accompanying video.

The app will guide users to a survey if they agree to get started. Based on their responses, the app will match them with the most compatible wellness buddy.

Users can view the schedules of wellness buddies who have opted to share them and book classes accordingly, fostering real-life connections through shared class attendance.

The new feature also includes a chat function with wellness buddies, while unmatched or potential connections are listed in the request section. Users can edit their buddy preferences in their profile and discover new matches to expand their connections. The matches icon is intentionally designed as the ClassPass logo to create a more cohesive and seamless user experience.

Several opportunities for app improvement were identified through the interviews, including intriguing ideas like gamifying the app or introducing a buddy system.

We then decided to further explore the idea of incorporating a buddy system as a new feature in the app.
